Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM

Pay: $23-$30 depending on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance to minimize downtime in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions quickly
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, and other production equipment
• Conduct inspections to identify potential failures or safety hazards
• Support equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Accurately document maintenance activities and repairs
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or distribution environment preferred)
• Working knowledge of electrical systems (including PLCs a plus)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, and work in industrial environments for extended periods
• Comfortable working around machinery and in varying temperature

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Experience in food/beverage, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
