Medical Laboratory Technician

The position is for a Medical Laboratory Technician specializing in microbiology. The technician will work a first shift schedule, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with alternating weekends. Weekend shifts begin at 6:00 AM and end at 2:30 PM. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field is required. A valid license is necessary for this role. BLS Certification is required for the position. Shifts may be canceled according to policy, which allows for four shifts per contract, or three shifts if the contract is under 13 weeks. Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is essential. The role does not require a BSN. This position is set in an acute care setting.
