Communications Associate

Description SAIC is seeking a Communications Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Maintain Purchase Requests tracker and submit request for approval Track item through procurement process - when item is sent for approval, approved received, purchased, and item(s) received Track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) purchases Contact Leads regarding purchases and dates of consumption for purchased items Update spreadsheet of relevant Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Government Furnished Property module data for PIEE representative Ensure Travel Authorization Request forms have correct contract information and are edited for clarity and all travel is tracked for approval/rejection Ensure trip reports are received, have correct contract information, are edited for clarity, concise, have correct contract data, and submit Sent Monthly Status Report reminders; track submittals; compile and perform formatting and grammatical edits as needed; submit Monthly Status Reports and Trip Reports Compile Monthly Report Highlights into a singular report for the COR Update security roster with employees who worked Compile and revise Monthly Accomplishments Prepare contract projections Prepare Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Conference spreadsheets and Action Item spreadsheets Prepare newsletter submissions; abstract articles for newsletter; format newsletter and distribute to team Technical writing and editing requests as needed Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

Bachelors and zero (0) years or more related experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Computer savvy Strong working knowledge in Microsoft products and Data Management experience is required Detail oriented Interim Secret Clearance required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor this process US Citizenship required
