Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,995–$2,137 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 8 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour rotating shifts; weekends and holidays included Start date: 06/08/2026 Setting: Critical Access Hospital On-call nights required as part of weekend/holiday coverage Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients across multiple areas, including acute care, OB, and ER Perform basic interpretation of electrocardiograms and identify potentially life‑threatening arrhythmias; communicate findings to the medical team Adhere to and apply indications and contraindications for respiratory care procedures per American Association for Respiratory Care guidelines Provide advanced life support as required, including ACLS, neonatal life support, and pediatric life support protocols Conduct patient assessments, document findings, and convey pertinent data to physicians; participate in care planning and consultations Perform intubation procedures when indicated and manage ventilator support and weaning as appropriate Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, quality of care, and infection control Requirements Active Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license (RRT) and registration ACLS, Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications Ability to interpret ECGs and determine life‑threatening arrhythmias; capable of performing intubation and other advanced respiratory procedures Willingness to work rotating 12‑hour shifts with weekend and holiday on‑call requirements Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians and the care team; maintain accurate patient records Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Nationwide assignments available Fast credentialing Extension opportunities Referral bonus up to $1,000 Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
