We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate person to encourage and positively influence youth (ages 5 – 17) from diverse backgrounds. As a Coach, you will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, helping students develop social and emotional skills to promote healthy relationships and resiliency.

Responsibilities:

• Build a positive and supportive learning environment for students in group and one-on-one settings in multiple schools
• Implement current programs and activities to enhance student self-esteem and emotional regulation
• Provide guidance and support to students in areas such as decision-making, character building, and positive coping skills
• Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess their personal needs
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address student needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, performance, and areas of need
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance mentoring skills
• Recruit and support volunteer mentors to work with students

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
• Passion for helping students with identified and unidentified behaviors/risks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Manages time well
• Organized
• Reliable transportation
