Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.02 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional support as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain required reports and documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. An armed guard card or license is required. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
