Work Environment This position is fully remote, designed to provide you with the flexibility to work from home while delivering high-quality services to our clients through a virtual outpatient office framework. The role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a structured work routine that facilitates both productivity and personal time. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the mood disorder symptoms of clients, including their intensity, frequency, and duration. Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and values. Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide therapeutic interventions. Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques. Monitor and document client progress, regularly reviewing and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork by collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver integrated care. Maintain an understanding of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to refine and enhance therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will work closely with a diverse client population, navigating complex family dynamics and individual challenges related to mood disorders. Our clients range from adults seeking support for anxiety and depression to families requiring assistance with communication and relational issues. Providing care in a supportive environment is key to fostering healing and promoting mental wellness. Qualifications A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients. A strong foundation of empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach to the experiences and struggles of clients. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently while keeping up with necessary administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience in offering therapy services via telehealth platforms. Familiarity with treatment protocols for mood disorders and knowledge of best practices in the field. Previous work experience with a diverse range of clients, including those facing trauma or substance abuse issues. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
