Remote Corporate Counsel

Job Description

Crosby A.I., backed by top investors like Sequoia Capital and Bain Capital Ventures, is a successful, groundbreaking legaltech startup building both an agentic A.I. tool to assist with contract automation, as well as the law firm that uses those tools. Instead of selling our proprietary technology to other firms we are competing with them by providing fast, efficient contract negotiation to high growth companies with lean legal teams. The entire process at Crosby is overseen by our elite in-house lawyers ensuring quality and efficiency.

After a $60 million series B we're seeking a driven deal attorney to be an early hire for our legal team. You'll be using our A.I. tools and running commercial deals for some of the fastest growing, most innovative startups in the world.

\n

A transactional background with some BigLaw experience is required for this role (M&A, ECVC, Finance, Tech Trans, general corporate/transactions). Ideal candidates will have experience negotiating commercial contracts for startups.

You'll join a great culture while maintaining quality work, with no billable hours. This role is 100% remote anywhere in the United States.

  • work entirely remote, without having to bill your time. Crosby charges clients by the contract as opposed to the hour, with an emphasis on efficiency as opposed to hitting a billable target.

  • Attention to detail is paramount. We need leaders who can own the client relationship, review contracts and send them back without oversight.

\n

  • Ideal candidate is a commercially minded attorney with at least 2 years of experience in BigLaw within a M&A, ECVC, Finance, Tech Trans, or general corporate/transactions practice. In-house experience in addition to this is great. Ideal candidates will have experience negotiating commercial contracts for startups.

  • J.D. or LLM is ok . Must be admitted to the bar in the U.S.
