Human Resources and Business Office Manager

As the Human Resources and Business Office Manager , you are instrumental in shaping the culture of the facility. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Milbank by overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources department and the Business Office. You will assist department managers with all aspects of personnel matters, process facility payroll, pre-screen and assist in the on-boarding all facility new hires and maintaining positive employee engagement. Additionally, you'll be responsible for balancing resident accounts, creating and collecting resident billing statements, assist residents complete medical assistance applications, and distributing resident cash allowances. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe. To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance, or similar field; Two (2) years of experience in a H.R. role, preferably in a health care setting; One (1) year of experience in an Accounting role; Prior HR and Business Office Manager experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.
