Life Skills Clinician Overview The Life Skills Clinician (LSC) monitors and provides care coordination and life skills training and development in collaboration with the care team to youth and/or adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders, including those with serious and persistent mental illness and chronic addiction. Responsibilities Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary care team. Assist with gathering data for comprehensive psychosocial assessments. Deescalate clients displaying aggressive behaviors. Document services provided in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) based on policies and procedures. Transport clients in personal vehicles when necessary. Comply with all applicable Behavioral Health Care Service policies and procedures. Actively involved in professional development and education, including mandatory training. Complete timecards, PTO requests, mileage reports, and other documentation per Community Behavioral Health policies and procedures. Individuals may not perform all of these duties, or may perform additional, related duties not listed here. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required in mental health or related field.
