Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend requirements alternating based on AM and PM shifts.
As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will provide exceptional care for critically ill pediatric patients. This unit specializes in managing a wide range of acute pediatric conditions, ensuring every child receives personalized and comprehensive treatment.
Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
Perform critical procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, and chest tube placements.
Administer medications and manage patient IV fluids as per protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Support families and educate them about patient care and treatment plans.
Current RN License.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Experience in Pediatric and Pediatric ICU nursing is mandatory.
