Facilities Maintenance Assistant

The Facilities Maintenance Assistant assists with various maintenance and repairs of equipment, buildings, and grounds. Work assignments may be in any of the building trades.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with routine and preventive maintenance as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Foreman and Facilities Director
• Performs heavy labor and semiskilled manual tasks involving a variety of crafts to install, repair, maintain, and otherwise care for buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Safely operates common hand and machine tools in installation, maintenance, repair, and finish work
• Performs recurring tasks such as carrying, moving, and delivering supplies and equipment
• Performs and assists in the maintenance of grounds and outside structures
• Assists in the school's Safety and Health management program
• Performs and assists in event setup, such as chairs, tables, AV equipment, and supplies
• Assist with daily cleaning of picnic tables and benches, and with general cleaning as required.
• Assists with receiving purchased items and stocking
• Performs additional duties as requested

Salary Range: $26.00 - $31.00/hour.
