Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health status and emotional needs of clients, ensuring the development of tailored treatment plans. \n Design and execute individualized treatment strategies that align with clients’ goals, utilizing evidence-based interventions across various therapeutic modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy. \n Continuously monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes in alignment with clinical guidelines. \n Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, utilizing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic protocols to manage acute situations effectively. \n Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care, participating in case conferences and contributing to integrated treatment plans. \n Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and treatment methodologies. \n Adhere to professional ethical standards as outlined by relevant licensing boards to maintain the highest level of care. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n At Life Matters Counseling Center, we serve a diverse clientele with varying mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW. \n A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. \n Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and team members. \n Empathy and dedication to the well-being of clients, accompanied by a commitment to ethical practices. \n Proficiency with EHR systems and a strong understanding of mental health compliance regulations. \n The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing responsibilities with professionalism and integrity. \n Preferred Experience\n Preferred candidates will have experience in a community health setting and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, a history of involvement in interdisciplinary collaboration and client advocacy is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance.
