Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in Rapid City, South Dakota. The role supports licensed Physical Therapists by implementing treatment plans, providing therapeutic exercises, and monitoring patient progress. The position offers competitive weekly pay up to $1,800, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
2. Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to patients
3. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising PT
4. Document patient treatment and responses accurately
5. Ensure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions
6. Collaborate with the rehab team to achieve positive outcomes

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active South Dakota PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred Skills:

• Previous clinical experience
