Aquatic Infrastructure Pipefitting Specialist

Employer: Weller Pools — a commercial swimming pool construction firm delivering large-scale aquatic destinations such as municipal pools, lazy rivers, competition venues, splash pads, and signature water features.

You arrive on site with the project team’s plan in hand. The morning starts with a layout check: elevations verified, trenches marked, and blueprints reviewed with the superintendent. Underground runs go in first—precisely graded and aligned to meet hydraulic design parameters. By midday, you’re dry-fitting runs and coordinating with other trades to keep clear paths. In the equipment room, you transition to overhead manifolds and valve assemblies, ensuring the system ties together exactly to spec. Safety checks, site cleanliness, and documentation wrap the day—then you prep for tomorrow’s sequence, which may be at a different project location.

• Install underground piping systems for commercial pool builds with precise grading and alignment.
• Assemble and install overhead piping within equipment rooms, including manifolds and valves.
• Interpret plumbing drawings, plans, and specifications; set out work to exact elevations.
• Apply proven pool plumbing means and methods in line with aquatic industry standards.
• Work confidently with aquatic hydraulic systems to achieve design flow and performance.
• Coordinate daily with project managers, superintendents, and on-site trades.
• Pitch in with broader pool construction activities when the project demands it.
• Maintain safe work practices and a clean, orderly job site.

• Commercial plumbing or pipefitting experience; pool-focused experience preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with aquatic hydraulic systems and their components.
• Ability to read and apply construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience installing both underground and overhead piping systems.
• Comfort working to tight tolerances and precise elevations.
• Periodic travel to job sites; reliable personal transportation required .
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Team-first mindset and strong work ethic.
