As our accounting specialist, you help keep the Theatre running smoothly by maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting activities. You will perform a variety of accounting and transactional posting duties according to established procedures. You will perform assigned monthly reconciliations. You will get to work with technology including MS Office apps, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Adobe Acrobat and other industry-specific software. Summary of qualifications: 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably at a nonprofit organization, especially in performing arts. Associate degree or demonstration of solid understanding of basic accounting principles; additional experience may qualify. Expertise in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel; knowledge of other typical financial software Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
