Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients individually and within partnership dynamics to understand their unique needs. \n
- Facilitating sessions with couples to address issues such as communication deficits, conflicts, and emotional disconnect. \n
- Engaging with families to provide holistic support, encompassing various challenges like grief and loss, job-related stress, blended family dynamics, and adjustment to divorce. \n
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to each client’s particular circumstances. \n
- Monitoring and evaluating client progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes. \n
- Collaborating with community resources and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. \n
- Staying abreast of advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy to continually enhance clinical skills. \n
You will primarily work with diverse individuals, couples, and families experiencing challenges such as:

- Substance abuse issues and their effects on family dynamics. \n
- Physical and psychological trauma within family relationships. \n
- Loss and bereavement, particularly how these factors impact family functioning. \n
- Interpersonal conflicts, especially within sibling and parent-child relationships. \n
- Transitions such as separation or divorce and their implications for family cohesion. \n
- Challenges involving blended families, such as navigating new marital structures and parenting roles. \n
- Overall communication and relationship-building skills enhancement. \n
The ideal candidates for this role must possess the following qualifications:

- A current License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) with an active state license to practice. \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
