About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Total Rewards to lead and direct the function, ensuring that the organization's compensation, benefits, and recognition programs are competitive and aligned with its strategic objectives and mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for the research, design, implementation, communication, and administration of all total rewards programs for over 17,000 employees. This role involves collaborating with various HR areas, managing a significant budget, and overseeing a team of 20 total rewards professionals. The Vice President will also be tasked with staying current on industry practices, driving process improvements, and ensuring legal compliance in all programs. Applicants for the Vice President, Total Rewards position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years' experience in leading and managing compensation and benefits departments. The role requires a strong background in structuring and measuring the effectiveness of total rewards packages, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders. Experience in vendor management, project management, and a proven track record of results are essential. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CEBS, CCP, and experience working with labor unions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and consultation skills, and a passion for the mission of the organization.
