Overview Job Title: Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech — Ultrasound Tech specialty Location: Burlington, Vermont, United States Start date: 08/06/2026 Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 5x8 days (8-hour daytime shifts) Weekly pay: $2,455 to $2,559 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week Setting: hospital-based ultrasound lab This travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The position supports an adult echo lab within a hospital setting and may include floating to outpatient facilities. Some call may be required. Key Highlights

• Weekly pay: $2,455–$2,559 per week
• Shift: 8-hour daytime shifts, five days per week
• Duration: approximately 6 weeks
• Travel assignment in a hospital-based ultrasound lab
• Experience: minimum 2 years in ultrasound with EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years
• Certifications: ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI), AHA BLS, EKG recognition
• Patient population: inpatient, outpatient, and ICU
• Work may include floating to outpatient facilities and potential on-call responsibilities
• No block schedules; reliability of transportation recommended due to local commuting considerations

Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiography studies in accordance with lab protocols, ensuring image quality and appropriate optimization of sonographic parameters.
• Enter and manage data in EPIC EMR, document findings, and communicate preliminary results to the interpreting physician and care team.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy, obtain informed consent when applicable, and adhere to infection control and equipment-cleaning protocols.
• Collaborate with cardiology and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care, including scheduling and prioritization to meet daily study targets (minimum 7–8 studies per day as noted in assignment details).
• Monitor and respond to the needs of patients across IP, OP, and ICU populations; participate in occasional on-call duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all lab policies, maintain equipment functionality, and participate in continuing education as required.

Requirements

• Certification: ARDCS (ARDMS or CCI) in Sonography
• BLS through AHA
• EKG recognition required
• Active EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Ability to work in a hospital-based echo lab and, when needed, float to outpatient facilities
• Reliable transportation to and from the assignment site is strongly recommended
• Willingness to work a 5x8 daytime shift and participate in on-call as required
