Position OverviewTrust Point Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Fairview, New Jersey. In this pivotal role, the therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by evaluating and treating individuals with a variety of functional limitations and disabilities. Here, team members engage closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which includes occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation aides, to create comprehensive care plans. The center is designed with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to provide effective treatments and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Weekly scheduled hours amount to 40 hours, with variable weekends as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Physical Therapist with Trust Point, your day-to-day responsibilities include:Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to determine their functional limitations and disabilities.Developing customized treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility and strength while adhering to professional standards and documentation regulations.Engaging in patient education to inform them and their families about treatment goals, progress, and discharge planning.Maintaining accurate documentation of all treatments, responses, and services provided while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Collaborating effectively with healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care and contributing to team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.Participating in community outreach initiatives and departmental functions aimed at quality improvement, marketing, and program development.Supervising and mentoring assigned support staff, including physical therapy aides and students, in order to foster growth within the team.Patient Population / Client FocusOur rehabilitation center caters to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-operative care, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. The Physical Therapist is responsible for treating patients across various age groups and cultures, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet individual needs and addresses specific challenges they may face in their recovery journey.QualificationsThe successful candidate for this role must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and have a valid state license in Physical Therapy. Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication abilities, as well as proficiency in word processing and computer systems to ensure efficient documentation and collaboration.Preferred ExperienceWe are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy. Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, as it enhances your ability to contribute effectively to our team. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and a background in patient education would be beneficial.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
