Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN): Med/Surg

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical department. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

• Unit: Medical-Surgical (3rd & 4th Floors)
• Patient Population: Serves all ages, with a focus on conditions such as COPD, post-operative joint care, and diabetes management.
• Number of Beds: 57
• Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 (with PCA assistance)
• Electronic Health Record: MediTech
• Supervisor: Med Surg Director

Shifts and Requirements

• Shift: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend, as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/HWC/MAB
• Education: Must possess current RN licensure in Kentucky
