Location : San Bernardino, CA
Pay Range : $25 - $27/hr.
Work Schedule : 3rd Shift (Overnight) 7pm - 3:30am

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Review daily schedules and customer orders so you can stay ahead of changing business needs throughout the shift.
• Direct plant staff, loaders, drivers, and batch plant operators on what material to load and where deliveries should go.
• Weigh trucks before and after loading, then prepare delivery tickets for outbound materials.
• Respond quickly to delivery issues and communicate concerns to service or sales teams for timely resolution.
• Receive orders by phone, radio, in person, and through internal teams, then record them accurately as they come in.
• Help customers identify the right products for their project needs while explaining order confirmation and delivery policies.
• Build driver schedules for the next business day while balancing efficiency, customer demands, and company cost goals.
• Prepare daily reports covering sales, allowances, adjustments, delivery issues, and other operational details.
• Handle additional duties as assigned to support the dispatch operation.

To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring

• Experience working in dispatch, scheduling, logistics, transportation, or a related coordination role.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly by phone, in person, and with drivers and truck operators.
• The ability to stay organized, prioritize quickly, and manage multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of paving, concrete, construction materials, trucks, and transportation rules or requirements.
• Comfort using computers to enter information, track orders, and generate reports.
• Proven ability to schedule people and equipment efficiently, even when timing is tight.
• A steady, solution-oriented approach that supports teamwork, accountability, and good judgment.
