Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Business Development Executive to lead commercial sales and strategic partnerships within specialized B2B business networks. This role focuses on high-trust, relationship-first selling across industries such as wholesale distribution, e-commerce, real estate, commercial financing, and manufacturing.
The ideal candidate possesses deep commercial intuition, established credibility within close-knit business ecosystems, and the ability to build long-term, high-value client relationships from prospecting to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Pipeline Generation: Proactively prospect, identify, and qualify B2B commercial opportunities through referral networks, direct outreach, industry events, and warm introductions.
- Relationship & Account Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, C-suite executives, and procurement decision-makers, maintaining high retention and repeat business.
- Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead end-to-end sales cycles from initial discovery and product/service presentation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Market Intelligence: Identify emerging market trends, competitive positioning, and unmet needs within key commercial clusters to inform go-to-market strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, onboarding, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–7+ years of proven success in B2B sales, account management, or commercial business development with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Market & Cultural Fluency: Deep familiarity with the business practices, communication styles, and commercial dynamics of the Tri-State Orthodox and Hasidic business communities.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in English required; fluency or conversational proficiency in Yiddish or Hebrew is a significant advantage.
- Trust & Reputation: Strong network of existing commercial contacts and a reputation built on integrity, discretion, and reliability.
- Sales Acumen: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills, with comfort managing complex, high-ticket transaction cycles.
