Become a part of our dynamic team and we'll help you develop your career to a level that will exceed your expectations.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day:Lead/direct planning team and planning-related functions of the distribution centerDevelop and execute operational level reporting for site level leadership team and the clientEnsure Operations teams are supported to meet service-level standards; adhere to all contractual obligations and ensure client complianceSupport the execution of a process that meet our site objectives in the areas of supply chain, inventory and orders management performanceHire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively; take an active role in leading, mentoring and developing staff in accordance with the business and cultural objectivesIdentify growth opportunities with current customers by promoting enhanced services and/or cost savings to the customer, partner with site leadership in all customer visits, conference calls and problem-solving effortsSupport the identification and deployment of cost-saving initiatives through deployment of planning based continuous improvement initiatives within the siteHandle all direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, setting expectations, training and development, conducting performance reviews, etc.What you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:5 years of experience with complex demand planning activitiesExperience utilizing and deploying solutions within industry leading business intelligence solutions (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or equivalent)Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)Working knowledge of statistical methods, mathematical techniques and related analytical tools, including forecasting and projectionsIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or other related fieldWorking knowledge/understanding of SQL or similar programing languagesWorking knowledge of WMS5 years of managerial/supervisory experienceAPICS certificationExperience in Lean manufacturing principlesWarehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience Experience in quality, inventory, data mining and problem-solvingExperience in an AS9100 or ISO environmentThis job requires the ability to:Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of timeTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
