Staff Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities Perform all functions of a Staff Pharmacist and serve as a role model for the pharmacy team. Manage pharmacy workflow to improve efficiency and reduce customer wait times. Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner. Support and implement pharmacy sales initiatives and business objectives. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations. Oversee inventory management and warehouse utilization goals. Maintain proper ordering and inventory record-keeping procedures. Comply with controlled substance regulations and operating procedures. Manage third-party insurance issues, audits, and reimbursement concerns. Schedule pharmacy staff to optimize productivity and labor costs. Maintain all required pharmacy records and documentation. Monitor pharmacy performance against labor, volume, inventory, and sales goals. Build and maintain relationships with local physicians and healthcare providers. Promote public health initiatives and clinical services. Travel independently, as needed, to support business operations. Supervise, coach, and develop pharmacy staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Support diverse patient populations, including minors, older adults, and individuals with special needs. Perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy. Active Pharmacist License in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 21 years of age. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and pharmacy documentation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education. Participation in company-sponsored clinical programs and training. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Board Certification(s). Business management experience or equivalent education/training.
