CT Technologist

Job Summary: The Radiology/Cardiology CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT imaging procedures primarily during night shifts, providing diagnostic imaging services to emergency department and inpatient floor patients. The role involves operating CT and X-ray equipment to capture high-quality images, assisting in acute care settings including pediatrics and trauma cases, and collaborating with healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The technologist must maintain safety protocols and comply with licensure and certification requirements. Responsibilities: Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays of extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal system. Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality diagnostic images. Assist emergency, inpatient, pediatric, and trauma patients during imaging procedures. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging techniques and patient care. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols. Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records. Work collaboratively with at least one other technologist during night shifts. Required Skills & Certifications: Current ARRT (R) certification. Washington State CT Technologist license or pending license accepted. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care, emergency, or pediatric imaging preferred. Ability to perform both CT and general X-ray procedures. Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Experience working with trauma and emergency department patients. Familiarity with pediatric imaging protocols. Previous night shift experience. Special Considerations: Night shift schedule with hours from 20:30 to 07:00, Sunday through Wednesday. No on-call requirement, but voluntary call sign-up available. Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts. Minimum of two technologists must be present on night shifts at all times. Must comply with Return to Office (RTO) restrictions and include all RTO details in submissions. Scheduling: Four 10-hour night shifts per week, Sunday through Wednesday, from 20:30 to 07:00. #J-18808-Ljbffr
