Opportunity to work in collaborative skilled nursing facility environment focused on delivering high-quality patient-centered care.### Position SummaryUnder supervision of licensed Physical Therapist, PTA provides direct resident care and assists in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, function, and overall quality of life.### Key Responsibilities* Provide treatment to residents as directed by Physical Therapist* Assist in implementing individualized therapy care plans* Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation per regulatory and facility requirements* Maintain safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols* Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team, including therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families regarding patient progress* Participate in care plan meetings and rehabilitation conferences as needed* Educate residents and families on therapy goals, exercises, safety, and discharge planning.* Assist with training restorative aides and supporting facility therapy programs### Qualifications* Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required* Graduate of accredited PTA program* Previous experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred* Strong communication and teamwork skills* Ability to maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations### Physical Requirements* Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting in clinical environment### Why Join Bishop Care Center?* Supportive interdisciplinary team environment* Opportunity to make meaningful impact on resident outcomes* Competitive pay based on experienceWe are an equal opportunity employer.
