This role bridges strategic goals with operational execution, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, resource allocation, and coordinating diverse stakeholders. The Project Manager works with department leadership, faculty, and outside partners to ensure collaborative program design.## **Job Description:**Job Duties* Support the development of new programs, though initial operational implementation, as guided by department leadership.* Complete relevant applications as needed.* Collaborate with research support services to develop grant applications as needed for funding.* Collaborate with department leadership, and subject‐matter experts to define program objectives, scope, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.* In coordination with executive leadership and administration, develop comprehensive program plans, including milestones, resource requirements, and budgets.* Identify and evaluate operational, financial and organizational impacts associated with new programs.* Monitor progress to keep programs on track.* Coordinate with department leadership and external partners involved in program development, as applicable.* Design and document program workflows, policies, and procedures necessary for effective ongoing operation.* Prepare transition plans and documentation to support successful handoff to ongoing operations.* Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to future program development initiatives.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.**Preferred Qualifications**Education:* Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, business, technology, project management, or related field.Certifications/Licenses:* PMP – Project Management Professional* Agile* Other comparable project management certificationWork Experience:* Experience with platform deployments, technology rollouts, or enterprise system updates.* Experience in higher education, research, or healthcare.* Project management tools and methodologies.**Skills*** Organization* Communication* Leadership* Strategic planning* Prioritization* Timeline management* Collaboration* Risk management* Detail‐oriented* Adaptability* Problem‐solving**Required Documents:*** CV / Resume* Cover Letter**Comprehensive Benefits Package:**Coverage begins on day one for health, dental, and vision insurance and includes health expense accounts with generous employer contributions if the employee participates in a qualifying health plan. Employer-paid life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and various additional voluntary insurance plans are available. Paid time off, including vacation and sick, begins accruing upon hire, plus ten paid holidays. One paid discretionary day is available after six months of employment, and paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, military service, and parental leave is available after 12 months of employment. A retirement program with a generous employer contribution and additional voluntary retirement programs (457 or 403b) are available. **Employee Type:**Regular## **Time Type:**Full time## **Rate Type:**Salary**Compensation Statement:**The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.## **Pay Range:**$80,600.00 - $120,900.00**Minimum**$80,600.00**Midpoint**$100,800.00**Maximum**$120,900.00
