Job Details Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) Location: Tucson, Arizona Start Date: September 14, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890 Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Shift Duration: 12 hours Schedule: 3 shifts per week Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule EMR: Cerner experience preferred Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry or related acute care nursing experience Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills Ability to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment Flexibility to adapt to changing patient assignments and evolving care needs Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients Perform patient assessments, monitor telemetry rhythms, and respond to changes in condition Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and provider orders Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team Prioritize and delegate care appropriately to support safe patient outcomes Document care accurately in Cerner or other EMR systems and maintain clinical competencies through ongoing learning Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, professional communication Apply now for this travel nursing opportunity in Tucson, Arizona, and join a team committed to excellent patient care.
