The position requires working day shifts for 12 hours. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:22-44. Experience in long-term care is essential. Candidates must be comfortable working with a high volume of patients. BLS certification is mandatory for this role. Pending licenses will be accepted, provided they are obtained prior to starting. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Travelers must adhere to the attendance policy, with limitations on missed shifts. The facility provides support from interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and social services. This role involves caring for geriatric patients, including those with dementia. Other responsibilities include carrying out nursing assessments and managing medication. Candidates must demonstrate successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia test.
