Business Support Analyst

The Business Support Analyst serves as a liaison between multiple divisions at the Vermont Department of Taxes and software development teams, implementing software changes and testing their effectiveness. The role involves defining requirements, supporting process improvements related to tax forms and refund review, and identifying opportunities for user experience and business process enhancements. This position requires independence, strong communication skills, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. Key qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics, business administration, project management, information technology management, or related field Experience in business process improvement, project management, and improving government services through modern technology Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Ability to learn complex processes including tax administration and data analysis Experience with iterative processes and incorporating feedback Basic understanding of SQL preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Taxes
