Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and/or staff, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. This role calls for strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach while working as part of a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with post orders and established screening practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, badges, manifests, and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned work areas and the perimeter as directed, while observing operational conditions that may impact screening activity and overall site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
