STEM Summer Camp Volunteer
$40 - $80 per hourScientific Adventures
Scientific Adventures for Girls is seeking volunteers 1 morning per week for 8 week to assist with STEM programming at Oakland Boys and Girls Clubs this summer.
SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
What: Help teachers facilitate a rotation of 1 hour STEM lessons for elementary school-ages kids. Site and day depending, topics could include slime, neuroscience, toy design, Legos, and more.
You do not need to be an expert in these topics to help engage TK-6th graders in STEM learning.
Requirements:
- Be 15+ years old
- Attend a virtual training
- If 18 years or over, camp volunteers must also:
- Provide proof of negative TB Test in the last 2 years
- Be fingerprinted (school district specific, ~$40-$80)
- Complete CA Mandated Reporter training (or show proof of completion in the past year)

- Thursdays, 9:30am-12:15pm (2.75 hours)
- June 11th - July 30th (8 days)
