Novant Health Endoscopy TechnicianNovant Health is seeking a PRN Endoscopy Technician. An Endoscopy Technologist, under the direction of Physicians and Registered Nurses, assists with patient care and related services. The technologist must have the ability to assist with care of the adult and pediatric population.What You'll DoAssists with patient care while complying with department, hospital, and regulatory policies and procedures. Maintains clinical and professional competency, according to department policies, procedures, and protocols, as appropriate for the age of patient(s) served.What We're Looking ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED, required.Experience: Minimum of two years endoscopy experience, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Endoscopy Technician Certification, preferred. Endoscopy Technician Certification within one year of hire, preferred.Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age.
