Physical Therapist Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support school-aged children in a rewarding contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will allow you to make a meaningful impact across several locations, including coverage primarily in Newtown with additional caseload in the Morrisville/Pennsbury area. The assignment runs from late August through early June, with the potential to continue into the summer.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid and active state Physical Therapy licensure
• At least one year of hands-on experience working with preschool-aged children
• Strong background in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
• Must provide services in-person (teletherapy is not an option)
• Willingness and ability to travel within coverage areas, including Carbon and/or Lehigh Counties
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
• Must meet all state educational and certification requirements for school-based therapists

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing direct physical therapy services to students in preschool and other grades, helping them develop mobility, strength, and functional skills
• Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to IEP development
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
• Maintaining clear documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Traveling between school sites as needed within the defined areas
• Working 3-4 days per week (approximately 21-28 hours weekly), following the academic calendar
