Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk

A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk to join their team. This on-site role is a 6 month Contract to Hire opportunity in Sussex, WI. If you're detail-oriented and experienced in warehouse operations, this role offers a great chance to support a busy machine shop environment. Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk Responsibilities Prepare and package products according to customer specifications and quality standards. Receive, verify, and inspect incoming materials, ensuring counts and part numbers match documentation. Coordinate with carriers for pickups and resolve delivery issues promptly. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs, supporting traceability. Support inventory movements, documentation, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy. Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience in inventory management and shipping/receiving operations. Familiarity with inventory accuracy practices, referencing purchase orders, and resolving shortages or damages. Experience working in metal manufacturing, shipping, or warehouse environments preferred.
