Job Paid: $20 - $30 an hour Job Types: Part‑time, Contract Job Location: Mertztown, PA Taylor Robinson Music is looking for private music instructors to teach piano lessons. We aim to make music lessons accessible and affordable, and we need local instructors who can host students in their homes or studios, or travel within the Mertztown area. Lessons are mostly in‑person; a small portion are via webcam. As an independent contractor your pay ranges from $20–$30 per hour, based on travel time, experience/education, and student retention. You set your own schedule and curriculum, and we handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing. Responsibilities Teach piano lessons to students of all ages at the student's location, instructor's home, or studio. Develop lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and progress. Communicate effectively and reliably with the office and students. Attend lessons on time and maintain a professional, organized presence. Wear a mask, sanitize hands, and observe social distancing when appropriate. Travel to students’ homes within the Mertztown area when requested. Qualifications Either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience. Strong communication and time‑management skills.
