What You'll Do

• Provide advanced respiratory care for diverse patient populations across multiple campuses, including NICU, PICU, ICU, ED, and Med/Tele units
• Support high-risk deliveries, including neonatal intubation and airway management
• Manage ventilators and ABG analysis using equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, and more
• Respond to Code Blue and rapid response situations swiftly
• Support with inhaled medications, including nitric oxide administration
• Document care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Float between four campuses as needed, supporting staff and ensuring optimal patient care

What You Need

• Required:
• LA State Respiratory Therapist Licensure
• 2+ years of critical care experience, including high-risk deliveries
• Active BLS and NRP certifications
• Comfortable with neonatal intubation and ventilator management
• Valid driver's license
• Preferred:
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Experience with NBRC accreditation standards
• CRT certification acceptable if registered

About the Assignment Join a dedicated team within a reputable healthcare system, providing specialized respiratory care in a dynamic environment. This role offers exposure to high-acuity cases at multiple facilities, supporting NICU, PICU, ICU, and emergency departments. Orientation includes two days of system training, with flexibility based on experience. You're expected to work a rotating schedule including 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and on-call shifts to ensure comprehensive patient coverage.
