Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in psychiatric care to provide outstanding patient support and mental health treatment. This per diem position requires commitment to strike work and adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement treatment strategies.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records, including EPIC.
  
  
• 
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a therapeutic environment.
  
  
• 
  Participate in required onboarding and orientation sessions for strike assignment.
  
  
• 
  Complete and submit manual timesheets with department approval to ensure proper compensation.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active nursing license and meet all state licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications applicable to psychiatric nursing.
  
  
• 
  Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or valid vaccination/declination attestations.
  
  
• 
  Possess previous psychiatric nursing experience, especially in inpatient or acute settings.
