Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds: 10 + 2 OR suits
Cost Center: 707
Patient Ratios: 2:1
Unit staffing description: Core staff includes a charge and 2 RN’s plus an OB tech. Unit secretary also available.
Type of equipment: Varies
Documentation system: CPN and Meditech
Scheduling requirements: three 12 hour shifts per week
Floating policy: to “like units” or to task
On Call Expectations: no on call
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Patient Experience requirements: Hospital Specifics:
Certifications: Intermediate AWHONN, BLS, STABLE, ACLS, NRP

Hiring Profile

Must have: All above stated certifications

Procedures performed on unit:

Able to assume the care for laboring patient population
C-section, cerclages, induction of labor, versions, baby catch

Dress Code:

Provided by unit
