As one of our Wealth Management Consultants, you'll lead sales initiatives in the Wirehouse Channel segment, identifying firm and firm representative's needs and coordinate efforts to serve those needs. You'll manage American Funds Distributions presence, relationships, and business results with key Wirehouse firms. You excel at delivering motivational and informative presentations. You're motivated by setting goals and measuring your performance against them.

Territory: Houston

You are the person Capital Group is looking for.

• You have a proven track record in third-party distribution, a broad knowledge of the mutual fund, SMA, ETF and CIT business and sales cultures, and the demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships.
• You have a proven track record and a deep technical knowledge of portfolio construction.
• You know how to leverage technologies to create custom analysis (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.).
• You're well-versed in synthesizing information and presenting it in a distilled manner.
• You have one or more of the following designations: Series 7, 66, and/or CIMA, and CFA

Capital Group is required by state specific laws to include the salary for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $75,000 + applicable sales commissions and bonuses. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
