Job Summary Senior Patient Services Manager – Lead our Patient Services Team in an Acute Care setting in Florence, SC. The role involves managing the delivery of patient food services, ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions, and achieving patient satisfaction goals. Key Responsibilities Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services based on medical direction and patient population. Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members. Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to meet patient preferences within diet order limitations. Assist staff in achieving patient satisfaction goals. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accreditation agencies, while adhering to confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies. Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs. Qualifications Associate degree with one (1) year of work experience in food services or related field, OR bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field. Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietician, or Registered Dietitian – preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of food service management experience in an acute care setting – preferred. ServSafe® certification – desirable. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems.
