Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a hospital-based emergency department located in Centennial, Colorado. This role involves providing acute care in a dynamic and high-volume environment, with a focus on teamwork and utilizing advanced medical equipment. The scheduled shift is night hours, offering an opportunity to work in a well-resourced facility with supportive staff.

Job Details

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1-year current acute care emergency department experience, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a large hospital setting, prior Meditech EMR experience
  • Position Description: Responsible for performing IV placements, EKGs, Foley catheter insertions, wound care, medication administration, patient assessments, and other procedures as needed in an emergency care setting. The team is seasoned, with a positive culture emphasizing teamwork and efficient patient care.
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours weekly, starting on 08/31/2026
  • Additional Information: The unit operates with 18 beds and a staff of 3-5 nurses per shift. It is a converted freestanding emergency department with increased resources, including respiratory therapy, on-site radiology (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound), full laboratory with staff, and other operational support to enhance patient flow and care quality.
