Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) nurse located in Sioux City. This position involves working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing clinical expertise in perioperative patient care. The role requires deployment within a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting various surgical disciplines including orthopedic, general, robotic, spine, ENT, and gynecology procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Iowa (IA) or compact nursing license; BLS (American Heart Association preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted); ACLS (American Heart Association preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted); at least 2 years of OR experience; Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience; mandatory reporter status; prior travel experience in operating rooms; robotics experience preferred; CNOR certification preferred; drivers license; must have worked in a Level 3 Trauma Center.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification; robotics experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have recent supervisory reference documentation, be able to work within specified clinical and operational requirements, and be prepared to participate in weekends call responsibilities approximately 3 to 4 weekends in a 12-week period, including Saturdays, Sundays, and some Fridays. Orientation is scheduled for 10/12/2026 and 10/26/2026.
