About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must be in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg in a hospital setting Description: Unit Information: Number of beds: 27 Number of staff: 5-6 RNs, 2-3 LNAs Patient ratios: 5-6:1 Type of equipment: Hoyer, CPM, EMR, Code Cart Skill Set Most recruited for: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first. 2 years of experience in Med Surg, orthopedics, and bariatrics. Typical procedures performed on the unit: Orthopedic Surgery (Knees, hips, shoulders, cervical), bariatrics. Best personality fit: Work collaboratively with team members, patient-focused. Floating areas: Medical Oncology Dress code: No specific color for scrubs required Weekends and on-call: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.
