Automotive General Manager

Job Summary General Manager will perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but are not limited to, the overall operation of the center, including risk management, teammate development, client metrics, production, and administration. The role also involves rewarding, recognizing, and retaining talented teammates, monitoring current financial performance metrics, and reviewing previous month’s financial metrics to identify opportunities and trends. General Managers must ensure that teammates repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably, following Protech’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), insurance partners, and industry guidelines/standards. Paid Skilled Trainings and Certifications – I-CAR and ASE Requirements 3+ years of Management Experience in the automotive industry or a mobile business Valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance policy Age 21 years of age or older Must pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (prover E-Verify compliance) Abilities / Skills / Knowledge Advanced understanding of Estimates Prior experience with OEM Advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures, scanning process Ability to understand instructions – written and verbal Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
