Job Summary

Golden Plains Specialty Clinic in Borger, TX is looking for a Family Practice Physician. The clinic is centrally located, within five hours of snow skiing, Palo Duro Canyon, air balloon festivals, amusement parks, casinos, and other attractions.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in appointed and medical staff committees, quality, and performance improvement activities (required).

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive wages, sign‑on bonus, and RVU bonus.
• Physician professional dues and fees (subject to approval): Texas Medical Association dues; Texas medical license fees; DEA registration costs; Texas DPS Controlled Substance registration fees; specialty board, AMA, or sub‑specialty association dues.
• CME reimbursement: $3,000 per contract year for IRS‑allowed CME expenses, five working weekdays per year (separate from PTO), subject to approval. Carryover of days or expenses is not allowed. Time and expenses for specialty certification, recertification, books, and periodicals charged against CME allowances.
• Professional liability insurance, long‑term disability insurance, and life insurance provided at hospital expense (life insurance maximum $150,000).
• Other benefits at physician expense: employee health insurance (employee pays 20% of premium cost), dependent health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, supplemental life insurance, short‑term disability insurance, retirement plan.
• Relocation allowance not to exceed $10,000.
• Educational loan forgiveness not to exceed $1,000 monthly.
• Operating in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).
