Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in various clinical settings, ensuring safety and quality. It requires maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and participating in patient education and support. Responsibilities Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients of all age groups. Performing assessments, administering treatments, and monitoring patient progress. Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Ensuring adherence to infection control policies and using PPE appropriately. Documenting patient information accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred. Current New York State Registered Nurse License. Clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care preferred. Relevant certifications such as CCRN, ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are advantageous. Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills. Work Environment: The role is performed in patient care areas and offices, involving physical activity like walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
