We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Senior Associate to join the team in our Denver, CO office. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week. This position will support our Affordable Housing Group. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CR team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred
• CPA, JD or EA preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Affordable Housing Industry experience preferred
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Strong tax research and writing skills
• Proven technical skills with MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Competence with tax compliance and research software to include Go Systems, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH, RIA
• Solid project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.

In Colorado, the salary range for a Tax Senior Associate is $80,000 to $115,000. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
