Job Description
A global semiconductor equipment manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to support the install, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment. This role is intended for highly experienced technical professionals who can apply advanced mechanical aptitude to diagnose issues, perform hands-on equipment work, and support customers in the field. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a resolution-focused mindset who can effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing while working through complex equipment challenges.

Skills and Requirements
• Associate degree or higher in Electronics, Engineering, or another applicable field of study (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment OR experience within avionics, mechanics, or military-related mechanical roles.
• Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Excel. • 2-year or 4-year degree in Electronics, Mechanics, Chemical fields, or a related discipline.
• Military background in electronics, mechanics, chemical fields, or related technical areas.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform well in a hands-on technical assessment.
Experience communicating clearly and concisely with customers in a technical environment.
